About the role

The Key Account Manager role is a key and essential role, providing full support to the Business Development Manager.  Working alongside colleagues and stakeholders you will provide excellent customer service and will build excellent working relationships, to ensure customer satisfaction levels are maintained and enhanced. 

You will be proactive in your working approach, identifying and minimising losses, identifying trends for new and repeat business as well as sourcing and processing new sales and hire opportunities for specialist TM equipment. You will train and motivate your direct reports, developing their skills and knowledge.  You will also monitor KPIs and will be responsible for reporting these back to the relevant parties in an agreed and timely manner.

A confident and organised individual, you are highly motivated, skilled at flexing diplomacy and can work well in a fast moving and high performing team.  You possess strong customer service skills and are highly proficient and accurate, completing all work to the highest of standards. You would describe yourself as resilient, determined and willing to “go the extra mile”.

Qualifications, skills and experience

Essential

  • Customer service experience

  • Strong administration skills

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Proficient in the use of a PC, the Microsoft Office suite or software and ability to work with other business systems

  • Flexible working approach

  • An ability to prioritise and work within company deadlines

    Desirable

  • Sales and hire experience
