12d Traffic Management Operatives – for HS2 Contract - Based from Coleshill, Birmingham

Salary: Paying up to £12.50 per hour basic (dependant on 12d qualification) PLUS company van PLUS benefits, Overtime and call out opportunities.  Also, if that’s not enough A £500 welcome bonus, paid in your first pay!!

We have recently been awarded another HS2 contract and are looking for 12d qualified operatives to be allocated to this scheme. This is a long term contract so offers:

40 hours per week guaranteed

About the role of a Traffic Management Operative

Responsibilities:

The Traffic Management Operative sits at the heart of everything we and you will be responsible for:

Installing, maintaining and removing temporary traffic management such as deploying cones, signs, frames, sandbags and other equipment on low-speed roads.
Undertaking traffic counts, calls to clients and subcontractors, timings and near misses
Maintenance of temporary traffic lights
Helping and guiding new trainees

What good looks like:

12d M1, M2 as a minimum 
Must be able to pass a safety critical worker medical
Full driving licence
Able to pass a drug and alcohol test
Positive “can-do” attitude
Adaptability and Flexibility
